By using Alwenna you agree to these terms. Alwenna is operated by an individual ("Alwenna", "we", "us"). Questions: support@alwenna.com.
Nature of the Service
Alwenna is an entertainment and self-reflection service. It uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized astrology content, including readings, horoscopes, and reports. This content is provided for entertainment and personal-insight purposes only.
No professional advice. Alwenna is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. Nothing provided through the service constitutes medical, psychological, mental-health, financial, investment, legal, or other professional advice. If you need advice in any of these areas, consult a qualified professional.
No guarantees or predictions. Astrology is not a science. The content is not predictive or deterministic, and we make no representation or warranty that any statement, reading, or outcome is accurate, reliable, or will come true. You should not rely on the service to make important life, health, financial, or legal decisions.
AI-generated content. Content is produced by automated AI systems and may contain inaccuracies or unexpected results. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on it.
Your responsibility. You use the service at your own discretion and risk, and you remain solely responsible for your own choices and actions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alwenna and its operator disclaim all liability for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the content.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service and make purchases.
Your account
An account is optional and needed only for paid features and cross-device sync. Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Alwenna.
Reading another person
For a compatibility reading, only enter another person's birth details if you have their consent. By proceeding, you confirm that you do.
Payments and subscriptions
Alwenna offers paid subscriptions and one-time purchases. The price is shown in the app and again at checkout before you pay; taxes are added where the law requires them.
On the website, payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record: Dodo is the seller of record for your order, takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and its name may appear on your card statement. In the iPhone and Android apps, purchases go through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are also governed by their terms.
Subscriptions — Constellation (monthly) and Cosmos (yearly) — renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time: on the website from the billing page of your account, in the apps from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
The Book of You is a one-time purchase of digital content. Each purchase lets you create one Book for one person. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Refunds
Subscriptions: you can cancel at any time, as described above. We do not refund the unused part of a period that has already started, except where the law requires it.
The Book of You: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet created the Book. Once you create it, the digital content has been delivered at your request and the purchase can no longer be refunded, except where the law requires it. If you live in the EU or the UK, by starting the creation of your Book you ask us to deliver it straight away and acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase.
If something went wrong — a charge you don't recognise, a double charge, or a Book that failed to generate — write to us and we will put it right: a Book that failed can be created again or refunded.
How to ask: for purchases on the website, write to support@alwenna.com from the email of your account; refunds go back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments. For purchases in the apps, refunds are handled by Apple or Google Play under their own policies.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no illegal use, and no attempt to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload it, and no reselling access without permission.
Intellectual property
The app, its design and its content are ours. The readings generated for you are yours to keep and use personally.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a reading.
Changes and governing law
We may update the service or these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by applicable law, and any dispute will be resolved under it.
